Get ready for predictive maintenance

The strive towards predictive maintenance is a well-known focus area for the industry, but to get there we need to monitor damage progression in a simple and intuitive way. By launching our brand new 3DX™ Damage Progression module we now provide this functionality within our 3DX Blade Platform.

The development of a damage is displayed in a time series of recorded inspections. In this way, a damage can be closely monitored over a period of time, and its evolution tracked in a so-called “damage chain”.

Knowing how damages develop over time allows blade experts to determine which damages need to be repaired when. This makes the planning of repair campaigns significantly more efficient, saving downtime and optimizing blade repair budgets.

Being able to compare inspection data with historical data also facilitates the quality assessment of repairs.
